CORE-MARK FAMILIES FOUNDATION

Core‑Mark Families Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit scholarship foundation based in Westlake, Texas that provides higher-education scholarships to dependent children of eligible Core‑Mark employees. The program is restricted to dependent children of non-executive, non‑bargaining unit Core‑Mark employees who have been employed full time with the company for at least two consecutive years; scholarships are awarded through an application process operated from the foundation’s site and administered by the foundation’s board. Since launching (tax records beginning in 2016), the foundation has grown its annual scholarship activity and fundraising, reporting multi-hundred-thousand-dollar contributions and scholarship distributions in recent years and operating signature fundraising events (including an annual charity golf tournament) that support scholarship awards.
