About READ USA INC

READ USA Inc. is a Florida-founded, donor-facing 501(c)(3) organization that delivers evidence-based literacy tutoring, large-scale book distribution, family engagement, and professional development to elementary students and their teachers. The organization trains, pays, and supervises teen tutors from under-resourced communities as part of a workforce-development model that simultaneously improves student reading outcomes and builds workplace skills for youth. In recent years READ USA has scaled its Book Choice & Ownership and Literacy Tutoring programs nationally while maintaining concentrated activity in Northeast Florida; its published impact metrics and an annual impact report document rapid growth in books distributed, students served, and teen tutors recruited across 2023–2026 activity cycles.
