About WASHINGTON HEIGHTS CHAMBER ORCHESTRA CORPORATION

The Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra Corporation (WHCO) is a New York–based 501(c)(3) professional classical ensemble founded in 2015 that presents low-cost and free concerts, community-centered programming, and educational initiatives across Upper Manhattan. WHCO has produced over 100 public concerts and regularly collaborates with local cultural partners, schools, and community organizations; programming in the last 2–3 years has included outdoor summer concerts, commissions and bilingual productions, and partnerships that have brought uptown composers and performers to higher-profile stages. The organization appears in public nonprofit filings and has reported annual revenues in the mid-five- to low-six-figure range in recent years to support its programming and outreach efforts.
