About RATCLIFF YOUTH AND FAMILY SERVICES

Ratcliff Youth and Family Services (RYFS) is a Texas-incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2004 that delivers home- and community-based services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and operates as a child-placing/foster services agency. RYFS provides a range of supports including HCS & TXHmL waiver services, supportive home living, day habilitation, vocational supports, respite, behavioral and nursing supports, and specialized therapies. In recent years the organization has continued to operate state-funded waiver and general revenue programs and to run foster-parent recruitment and training (including virtual training options) and community events for clients and families. RYFS emphasizes teaching, training and individualized supports designed to improve independent functioning while respecting each person’s dignity.
