About The Evergreen Chorale dba Ovation West Performing Arts
Founded in 1972 and operating today as Ovation West Performing Arts, the organization is an umbrella arts nonprofit that includes the Evergreen Chorale (community choir), Ovation West Theatre Company, and the historic Center Stage venue. It produces choral concerts, musical theatre, specialty concerts, film and education programs for the Evergreen/Denver foothills region.
Ovation West reports multi-year community scale of activity that includes a multi-generational choir (roughly 80–100 singers), a 24-member chamber ensemble (Altezza), summer youth music programming, and partnerships with regional orchestras and schools. The organization also owns and operates Center Stage, a renovated historic venue used for performances, rentals and education.
