About CHAMBER MUSIC SAN FRANCISCO

Chamber Music San Francisco (CMSF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit presenter of chamber-music concerts and solo recitals based in San Francisco that programs performances for three Bay Area communities (San Francisco, Walnut Creek and Palo Alto). The organization has presented subscription seasons since 2004 in intimate theaters (including Herbst Theatre and partner venues on the Peninsula and in Contra Costa County) and focuses on bringing internationally acclaimed touring artists together with strong local musicians.

In recent years CMSF has continued an active season cycle (2023–2026), presenting ensembles and soloists on national and international tours and maintaining its three-city model to broaden audience access. In 2024 CMSF appointed Jeanette Wong as Artistic & Executive Director, and the organization continues to rely on a mix of earned revenue and philanthropic support to sustain its concert series and partnerships across the region.
