About NATIONAL COLLEGIATE TABLE TENNIS ASSOCIATION

The National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Francisco, CA, that organizes and governs collegiate table tennis competition across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The organization runs an intercollegiate league structure, regional qualifying events, and an annual National Championships that bring together college teams and student-athletes. NCTTA works with national partners (including the sport’s national governing body) to provide competitive opportunities, rules and governance, scholarship support, and media/marketing for college table tennis programs. In recent seasons NCTTA has averaged several hundred athletes at its National Championships, maintained an expanding membership of college clubs, and updated its rules, scholarship, and championship operations for the 2023–2026 competition cycles.

Sustained National Championship Series

Operates an annual National Championships (culmination of the NCTTA league season) that regularly draws roughly 200–300 collegiate athletes and teams from dozens of universities across North America.

Membership and Program Growth

Maintains an active membership network of college table tennis clubs and student-athletes across North America, and in recent years has expanded regional competitions, divisions, and qualifier pathways to increase participation.

Scholarship & Athlete Support

Established and publicized a National Scholarship Program and other student-focused initiatives to support competitors’ academic and athletic development.
