ECOLOGICAL OPTIONS NETWORK

Ecological Options Network (EON) is a Bolinas, California–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit co-directed by documentarians and organizers Mary Beth Brangan and James Heddle. Founded in the early 2000s and recognized as tax-exempt in 2006, EON provides media production, research, education and grassroots organizing support for campaigns addressing nuclear energy and waste, wireless/EMF health concerns, and election integrity.

EON’s core work combines documentary and multimedia production with fiscal sponsorship and movement support: producing feature and short films, publishing reports and blogs, and amplifying allied campaigns and small projects. The organization partners with a range of groups (for example in the anti-nuclear and EMF safety communities) and regularly intervenes in public proceedings to advance precautionary and community-based policies.

In recent years EON has remained active through its documentary projects (including work on “S.O.S. — The San Onofre Syndrome”), continued media outreach, fiscal sponsorship of smaller initiatives, and participation in regulatory and advocacy processes. Public filings show multi-year Form 990 reporting and program activity; EON’s online news and filings indicate sustained activity and partnerships through the early 2020s and into the mid-2020s.
