About FOUNDATION OF THE AMERICAN BOARD OF TRIAL ADVOCATES

The Foundation of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA Foundation) is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the American Board of Trial Advocates. The Foundation advances civics education, professional education for trial lawyers, and public awareness of the civil jury trial through grants, educational programming, and public campaigns.

In recent years the Foundation has sustained active grantmaking in civic and legal-education programs, hosted a monthly professional-education webinar series for lawyers (with archived recordings), and run public-facing initiatives such as the Juror Appreciation Movement to improve public understanding of jury service.
