About HENDERSON HAVEN INC

Henderson Haven, Inc. is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Orange Park, Florida, that delivers children’s and adult services for people with developmental disabilities. Its programs include school and after-school services, Camp Possible, transition and pre-vocational programming (Metamorphoses), and family advocacy supports, all run with intentionally low staff-to-client ratios to promote individualized independence and community inclusion. Founded in 2003 to fill gaps in services across northeast Florida, Henderson Haven has developed partnerships (including a private-school campus partnership), expanded its facility footprint, and introduced private-pay and public-waiver programs to support clients across the lifespan. In the past 2–3 years the organization has continued program operations, celebrated multi-decade service milestones, published program-related books authored by its leadership, and received local grant support to sustain and upgrade program offerings. Henderson Haven maintains an active web presence for donors and volunteers, publishes program information and resources online, and files annual Form 990 returns reflecting program-service–driven revenue and ongoing service delivery to the community.
