About Museum of Science & History of Jacksonville, Inc.

The Museum of Science & History of Jacksonville (MOSH) is a private, nonprofit interactive museum in Jacksonville, Florida, that combines hands-on science exhibits, regional history interpretation, and a planetarium to serve learners of all ages. MOSH operates city-facing educational programs, traveling exhibits, outreach to schools across Northeast Florida, and public events that encourage curiosity and STEAM learning. In recent years MOSH has led a major capital initiative (the MOSH Genesis project) to relocate and expand to a new Northbank riverfront facility; the effort has included city approvals, a multi-year capital campaign and partnerships with national design and construction firms. During the transition period MOSH continues to deliver outreach programs, school partnerships, and temporary events while preparing for the new museum and surrounding park space.
