About CHILD GUIDANCE CENTER INC

Established in 1951, Child Guidance Center (CGC) is the largest provider of outpatient and community-based mental health services for children and adolescents in the Jacksonville area. The agency operates multiple outpatient sites, Full Service Schools, a Community Action Team, targeted case management, and a 24/7 Rapid Response (Duval County Mobile Response Team) to deliver crisis and routine behavioral health care. In recent years CGC has continued to expand measurable impact and transparency: its 2023 annual report shows several thousand children and adolescents served (3,847 unique youth reported in 2023) and the organization maintains audited financial statements and annual reporting. CGC is CARF-accredited and partners with local funders and county partners to provide school-based services and community crisis response.
