About JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF NORTH FLORIDA

Junior Achievement of North Florida (JA of North Florida) is the local Junior Achievement area office serving Northeast Florida. Founded in 1963, the organization delivers JA USA’s proven programs—JA BizTown, JA Finance Park and classroom experiences—that teach financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship to K–12 students. JANFL works with school districts, educators, volunteers and corporate partners to deliver in-class and experiential learning. In recent years JANFL has expanded regional impact through large-scale career fairs, competitions, workforce coaching pilots, and a planned Experiential Learning Center on Florida State College at Jacksonville’s downtown campus designed to serve tens of thousands of students annually.

Nearly 35,000 Students Served (2024–25)

During the 2024–2025 school year Junior Achievement of North Florida reported reaching approximately 34,969 students across dozens of schools, supported by more than 1,200 volunteers and hundreds of educators, delivering over 100,000 student contact hours.

Record Career Fair Reach (2024–25)

JANFL reported a record reach of 22,853 students through career fairs during the 2024–25 school year, significantly expanding student access to career exploration and employer engagement.

Experiential Learning Center Agreements & Major Fundraising Momentum

JANFL secured a long-term (50-year) land lease with Florida State College at Jacksonville and attracted multi-million-dollar commitments and signature corporate partners (including EverBank and Ring Power) to advance a planned 35,000 sq. ft. Experiential Learning Center projected to serve 30,000+ students annually.
