About NORTHEAST FLORIDA COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY INC

Northeast Florida Community Action Agency, Inc. (NFCAA) is a 501(c)(3) community action agency founded in 1964 that serves seven counties in Northeast Florida (Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns). The agency administers federal- and state-funded programs focused on emergency utility assistance, home weatherization, family self-sufficiency, and youth workforce/STEAM programming.

NFCAA operates major programs including the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) portfolio, the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), and the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and runs longer-standing youth employment/education initiatives (Data Busters / STEAM). In recent years NFCAA has continued active governance and program activity (regular board and committee notices, solicitations for contractors and consultants, and grants to local partners) and has filed recent Form 990s reflecting multi-million-dollar annual operating budgets.
