About The Cornea Society, Inc.

The Cornea Society is an international professional medical society focused on the cornea, external disease, refractive surgery and the anterior segment of the eye. It serves as a membership-based, donor-facing charity and professional association that supports research, education, publications and clinical best practices for cornea specialists. The Society sponsors the field’s primary peer‑reviewed journal and an open‑access companion, organizes recurring educational meetings (including subspecialty days, fellows’ summits and eye‑banking forums), and administers named awards and prizes to recognize clinical and scientific leadership. In recent years the organization has continued to expand its educational programming and publications to reach an international audience of cornea clinicians and researchers.
