About LEADERSHIP JACKSONVILLE INC

Leadership Jacksonville is a long‑standing, donor‑facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit (founded in 1976) that operates year‑long and short‑format leadership development programs for adult, young professional, collegiate and high‑school participants. The organization’s flagship program, Youth Leadership Jacksonville, New Leadership Summit and Next Generation offerings are designed to deepen participants’ knowledge of community issues, expand civic networks, and prepare graduates to serve in nonprofit and civic leadership roles. Since its first graduating class in 1977, Leadership Jacksonville reports more than 5,000 program graduates and maintains an active alumni network that is engaged through annual events, summits and local partnerships. In the last 2–3 years the organization has continued in‑person programming and alumni events (including an Annual Alumni Luncheon and Leading Better/Leadership summits) and has published regular alumni communications and class rosters, reflecting ongoing program delivery and community engagement. Leadership Jacksonville positions itself as a community catalyst by convening public, private and nonprofit leaders, offering executive‑level orientation for newcomers to the community, and celebrating civic contributions through established awards and hall‑of‑fame recognitions.
