About CLAY COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Clay Education Foundation (the district’s recognized nonprofit partner) was founded in 1988 to connect community generosity with classroom needs across Clay County, Florida. The foundation operates district-wide programs that supply teachers, award classroom grants, run literacy initiatives, manage scholarships, and support postsecondary & career-readiness work. In recent years the Foundation has expanded hands-on STEM access, grown its Tools 4 Clay Schools supply program, and increased literacy and career-pathway activities—reporting multi-thousand student reach and hundreds to over a thousand teachers served in its most recent impact summaries. The organization is led by a volunteer board and a small professional staff that partners closely with Clay County District Schools to target resources where tax dollars do not reach.
