COMMUNITY NUTCRACKER INC

Community Nutcracker, Inc. is a Jacksonville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that produces an annual full-length Nutcracker ballet featuring local students, community volunteers and professional artists. The organization uses its seasonal productions to showcase local talent, engage volunteers, and create an inclusive holiday tradition for the First Coast. The organization’s programming combines public, school and outreach performances and directs proceeds and ticket donations to local charitable partners. Over its multi-decade history it has both hosted school matinees and a dedicated community service night to broaden access to live performing arts. Community Nutcracker maintains an active web presence, a volunteer board and recurring partnerships with local nonprofits and media/sponsorship partners; it files annual Form 990 returns and continues to stage performances and fundraising/sponsorship campaigns in recent years.
