ANGELWOOD INC

Angelwood, founded in the early 1990s, is a Jacksonville-based nonprofit that provides long-term services and supports to children, adults, seniors, and families living with intellectual and developmental differences (including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, and Spina Bifida). The organization’s model emphasizes dignity and respect and combines residential, day, employment and community programs to promote independence.

Angelwood operates residential group homes, adult day training and supported employment programs, summer and holiday children’s camps, respite and behavior services, and a community thrift store. The organization reports serving more than 300 individuals across the greater Jacksonville area and continues to fundraise through annual events (including an Annual Celebration and a Sporting Clay Shoot) and community partnerships to sustain and expand services. Recent tax filings for fiscal year 2024 show annual revenues in the mid-millions and ongoing program investment to support direct services.
