About ALL BEACHES EXPERIMENTAL THEATRE INC

All Beaches Experimental Theatre (ABET) is a 501(c)(3) community theatre founded in 1996 that produces plays and musicals for the Beaches area of Jacksonville, Florida. The organization stages rotating productions in local venues, emphasizes new and underrepresented works alongside classics, and supports local artists and audiences. In recent years ABET has expanded programming and touring activity across Jacksonville while preparing a return to its home community in Atlantic Beach; the company announced its 34th season and has mounted multiple productions during 2022–2024. Leadership transitions since 2024–2025 reflect ongoing artistic renewal, and the organization continues to receive operating support from local funders to sustain productions and community outreach.
