About Child Cancer Fund Inc

Child Cancer Fund (CCF) is a Jacksonville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1994 by parents of children receiving cancer treatment. It supports pediatric oncology patients and their families in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia through financial assistance, a funded Child Life Specialist position, educational support, family retreats, and peer-support programming. In recent years CCF has expanded its services to include a multi-year Psychosocial Services Endowment that funds music therapy, animal-assisted therapy, pediatric psychology, and educational supports at Nemours Children’s Health Jacksonville. In 2024 the organization reported serving over 300 families and increased its 2025 financial assistance budget in response to rising need. CCF operates with an active donor-facing presence (regular public fundraising events and online donation options), files annual IRS Form 990s, and maintains a published annual impact report and program descriptions on its website.
