About OPERATION NEW HOPE

Operation New Hope is a Jacksonville-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs reentry and workforce programs for people impacted by the criminal justice system. Its core offerings—Ready4Release (pre-release), Ready4Work (post-release employment training and placement), Ready4Success, and Ready4Change—combine job training, case management, housing support, mental health services, and employer partnerships to help participants return to stable employment and housing. Over a 25+-year history the organization has expanded from a single location to a statewide reentry network serving Florida prisons and multiple program locations (including Jacksonville, Orlando, St. Pete, Tampa, St. Augustine and the Space Coast). Operation New Hope reports measurable outcomes including low recidivism rates for program graduates, thousands of months of transitional housing provided, and millions in annual participant earnings from placements in living-wage jobs.
