About OUR DAILY BREAD INC

Our Daily Bread Inc. is a Denton, Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates meals, day-shelter and overnight-shelter services and connects guests to social services and housing resources. The organization formed from a collaboration of area churches (founded 2000) and later merged with Monsignor King Outreach Center (2020) to provide consolidated services for people experiencing homelessness and those at risk. In recent years Our Daily Bread moved into a new consolidated facility on December 12, 2022—developed in partnership with the City of Denton—to place meals, hygiene, shelter, and housing-focused case management under one roof and reduce barriers to services. Since then the organization has continued daily meal service and expanded shelter operations, reporting sustained daily meal service volumes and increased food-rescue activities through 2023–2025. The organization is donor-facing with an active fundraising and volunteer program, files annual Form 990 reports, and is publicly listed in nonprofit registries under EIN 61-1698166 (verified against public tax filings and nonprofit registries).
