About Nurturings (dba Attachment Parenting International)
Nurturings is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (operating under the Attachment Parenting International brand) that has provided research-informed parenting education and peer support for roughly 30 years. The organization centers its work on the Eight Principles of Parenting and recent research on relational health, Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs), and HOPE-informed approaches.
Nurturings runs the Attached at the Heart Parenting Program (AHPP), publishes resources and curricula (including the 3rd edition of Attached at the Heart released in 2024), supports volunteer-led parent groups and trained professionals internationally, and partners on academic research and surveys to improve prenatal and parenting supports.

Attached at the Heart — 3rd edition (2024)
Released the updated third edition of Attached at the Heart (the AHPP textbook), incorporating recent research on PCEs, trauma-informed parenting strategies, and updated guidance on infant sleep and feeding.
Broad professional reach
Built a trained professional network and parent-group infrastructure (hundreds of independent professionals and over one hundred volunteer parent-group leaders across multiple countries) to deliver community-based parenting education.
