The Jason Foundation (founded in 1997) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on youth and young adult suicide prevention through free educational curricula, training, and community resources. JFI distributes programs and materials at no cost and operates a national affiliate network to broaden reach.
JFI’s work centers on a 'Triangle of Prevention'—students, parents, and educators—delivering student curricula, professional development for school and youth personnel, parent resources, and digital tools to help identify warning signs and connect youth to help.
In the last 2–3 years JFI expanded its offerings and partnerships to address co-occurring substance use and mental health issues, broadened online professional development content, and maintained large-scale educator training activity.
