Nora's Gift Foundation, Inc.

Nora's Gift Foundation, doing business as Nora’s Home, is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) hospitality home that provides low- and no-cost lodging, meals, and peer support to solid-organ failure patients, transplant recipients, living donors and their families who must travel to the Texas Medical Center for care. Since opening its Houston home in 2013 and completing a phase-two expansion in 2018, the organization has grown into a specialized medical hospitality program that supports families through long treatment and recovery periods and helps reduce financial barriers to accessing transplant care. Nora’s Home works closely with transplant centers and community partners to provide education, respite programming for caregivers, and an Adopt‑A‑Family fund that subsidizes stays so no guest is turned away for inability to pay. In recent years the organization has continued to expand services and fundraising activity (including an annual gala and golf classic) to sustain its operations and family support programs.
