About SAUSALITO WOMANS CLUB PRESERVATION SOCIETY

The Sausalito Womans Club Preservation Society is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) organization that stewards the historic Sausalito Woman’s Club clubhouse (a Julia Morgan–designed landmark) and raises funds for its long-term preservation and public access. The Society supports docent-led tours, conservation work, and community-focused fundraising that maintain the clubhouse as an active civic and cultural resource in Sausalito. In the last 2–3 years the organization has run public fundraising and benefit activities (most recently the “Preserving the Magic” benefit) and continued planned-giving and legacy efforts to underwrite preservation work and public programming. The Society works in close coordination with the Sausalito Woman’s Club membership and local civic partners to keep the 1918 clubhouse maintained, accessible, and historically intact. The organization’s Federal Tax ID (EIN 68-0225397) is publicly listed on the Sausalito Woman’s Club and preservation-site materials and matches public nonprofit registries; the entity is active, has an online donation presence, and solicits charitable support for preservation projects and public access.
