HERA Ovarian Cancer Foundation
To eliminate ovarian cancer by supporting cutting-edge medical research, educating the public about signs and symptoms, and empowering women to advocate for their health.
About HERA Ovarian Cancer Foundation
Founded in 2002 by Sean Patrick and operating as a registered 501(c)(3), HERA Ovarian Cancer Foundation (also known as HERA Foundation) is a Boulder, Colorado–based nonprofit focused on ovarian cancer research, education, empowerment, and awareness.
HERA funds annual 'outside-the-box' research grants for early-career and translational scientists, runs public education and industry partnership programs to raise symptom awareness, and produces the multi-city Climb4Life fundraising series to support its work.
