About USA Swimming Foundation, Inc.
The USA Swimming Foundation is the philanthropic arm of USA Swimming (founded 2004). It is a U.S. tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds and awards grants to expand learn-to-swim and water-safety programming, support community swim teams, and provide philanthropic support for U.S. National Team athletes.
Through national initiatives (notably Make a Splash), annual grant cycles, donor programs and signature events, the Foundation partners with local lesson providers, clubs, national partners and alumni to increase access to swim lessons, promote water safety, and strengthen competitive pathways at the grassroots and elite levels.
