In recent years CPR has operated at scale: in 2023 the organization reported rescuing and facilitating the adoption of over 1,100 puppies and mothers and continues to run frequent adoption events and foster recruitment to meet demand.

CPR provides medical care (vaccinations, microchipping, spay/neuter), maintains a large foster network, and runs recurring adoption events and seasonal fundraising campaigns; in May 2024 the organization updated its policy so animals are altered prior to adoption.
