About STREAMS OF HOPE

Streams of Hope is a faith-rooted community hub on the southeast side of Grand Rapids that operates a multi-service neighborhood center offering food assistance, education, health access, workforce development, and neighborhood-building programs. The organization runs a Food Center and community programs (tutoring, homework help, GED/adult education, workforce development, community garden and summer youth activities) and partners with local health and philanthropic institutions to expand services and facilities. In recent years Streams of Hope has grown program capacity and infrastructure—adding on-site clinical services through a health partner and securing multi-year grant support—while continuing to center neighborhood relationships and direct material assistance to families in southeast Kent County.
