About CONTEMPORARY ARTS MUSEUM HOUSTON

Founded in 1948, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) is one of the United States’ longest-running non-collecting contemporary art institutions, presenting international, national, and regional artists in rotating exhibitions and public programs. CAMH maintains free admission and offers a range of education and community initiatives—gallery talks, family activities, school partnerships, and teaching-artist residencies—that aim to increase access to contemporary art. In the past 2–3 years CAMH has continued active exhibition programming and outreach, sustaining public-facing events and classroom partnerships while maintaining a visible presence in Houston’s Museum District.
