Family Service Center at Houston and Harris County (d/b/a Family Houston)

Family Houston (officially Family Service Center at Houston and Harris County) is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) social service organization founded in 1904 that provides mental health counseling, financial stability coaching, and community support services to individuals, families, youth, and veterans across the region. The organization operates multiple programs — including Veterans Support, Youth on the Move (workforce & career readiness for ages 14–24), a Basic Needs Pantry, and in-school counseling — and reports measurable outcomes across mental health and financial stability services. Family Houston maintains an active donor-facing presence (website, annual reports, events, and fundraising), holds third-party accreditations and transparency seals, and continues to expand service capacity through new facilities and grant-funded initiatives in recent years.
