Houston Christian Broadcasters, Inc. (KHCB) is a Houston-based, donor-supported Christian radio ministry that operates the KHCB Radio Network (AM/FM and translators) and related digital channels to deliver biblical teaching, Christian music, and ministry programming in English, Spanish and Mandarin. The organization serves listeners across the Houston region and a broader network of stations in multiple states by combining live broadcast, streaming, on-demand programs and targeted language ministries. KHCB has an established, donor-facing presence with a long broadcasting history and ongoing growth: in recent years the network has continued to add outlets, expand its Spanish-language Radio Amistad footprint internationally, and modernize distribution through a mobile app and on-demand content while maintaining noncommercial, listener-supported operations.

Notable achievements

Network growth and station launches

Expanded the KHCB Radio Network to 60+ broadcast outlets and translators and launched new stations in market areas (example: KLMH in Lamesa went on the air in late 2024/early 2025) to extend reach into underserved Spanish-speaking markets.

International Spanish ministry expansion

Expanded Radio Amistad (KHCB’s Spanish ministry) into new international outlets (including overnight carriage in parts of Argentina in 2025) to broaden Spanish-language outreach.

Digital modernization

Launched and promoted KHCB streaming, on-demand programming and a mobile app to increase listener engagement beyond terrestrial radio and support donor development and volunteer training.
