About Denver Ballet Guild
Founded in 1979, the Denver Ballet Guild is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization that supports and promotes ballet and other forms of dance across the Denver metropolitan area through education, grants, scholarships and audience development.
The Guild runs several signature programs — including Showcase of Dance (free performances and school outreach), the Young Dancers Competition, Les Cygnettes/Les Demoiselles/Les Messieurs youth membership programs, and the long-running Le Bal de Ballet fundraiser — and also underwrites and awards community enrichment grants to local dance companies and artists.
In the last 2–3 years the Guild has continued large-scale school outreach (bringing thousands of children to live performances), awarded substantial community grants and scholarships, and maintained its signature fundraising and membership activities to support Colorado dance organizations and young dancers.
