About CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER INC

Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) is a Houston-based, church coalition nonprofit that provides emergency basic needs, workforce development and youth services to residents of central and southwest Houston. Its core programs include two emergency service locations (food, clothing, hygiene, limited medical support and financial assistance), JobNet and vocational training (Martha’s Way and Home Caregiver Training), and youth initiatives such as Back To School, Louise J. Moran Vision Care, and Jingle Bell Express. In recent years CCSC has published annual impact reports documenting year-over-year service volumes and program outcomes, operating with audited financial statements and active community fundraising and in-kind support. CCSC also partners with a network of member churches and community donors to deliver both crisis relief and longer-term pathways to financial stability for low-income Houstonians. CCSC reports a multi-million dollar annual budget and a substantial volunteer base; its programming emphasizes measurable outcomes (e.g., job placement leads, income gains for training graduates, vision care completions, and household stability after rental/utility assistance).

Notable achievements
