About Evergreen Animal Protective League

Evergreen Animal Protective League (EAPL) is a volunteer-run, foster-based animal rescue founded in 1981 that rescues, cares for, and places lost, abandoned, and relinquished cats and dogs in permanent homes. EAPL operates a dedicated cat adoption room inside a local pet supply store and maintains a retail thrift shop whose profits support rescue operations.

In the last 2–3 years EAPL has continued regular community adoptions and fundraisers (including summer adoption events and an annual fundraising run), maintained its foster network and spay/neuter assistance programs, and participated in community fundraising campaigns such as Colorado Gives Day.
