The Vail Valley Foundation (EIN 74-2215035) is a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit that creates life‑enriching experiences across arts, athletics, education, and community supports for the Eagle River (Vail) Valley.
The Foundation operates signature venues and programs — including the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, the Vilar Performing Arts Center, the Vail Dance Festival, the GoPro Mountain Games, the Birds of Prey World Cup races, and the education subsidiary YouthPower365 — and leads community initiatives such as early childcare and workforce housing supports.

GoPro Mountain Games growth & sustainability
The GoPro Mountain Games sustained growth (attendance exceeding 90,000 in recent years), secured title‑sponsorship through 2026, and set new sustainability benchmarks — achieving a record high waste‑diversion rate at the festival in 2024.
Education & community investments
YouthPower365 served several thousand youth in recent years and the VVF advanced community infrastructure projects including breaking ground on an early childhood education and development center and expanding free community arts access.
