Four decades of service

Founded in 1982, Alternatives has provided pregnancy and sexual-health programs in the Denver area for 40+ years and has opened multiple clinic sites, a mobile testing clinic, and an on-site medical clinic since 2020–2021.

Program expansion and measurable growth

Between 2021 and 2023 Alternatives launched Momma Mentoring, rebranded and expanded men’s services (Legacy Men’s Services), broadened Counseling After Abortion (reporting a multi-hundred percent increase in participation in 2023), and increased telehealth access to reach more clients across the region.

Strong financial stewardship

Alternatives publishes audited financial statements and reported program-focused spending with program services constituting the large majority of expenses; 2023 support and revenue were in the low- to mid-millions and the organization closed 2023 with a clean independent auditor opinion.
