MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF COLORADO INC

Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado (Make-A-Wish Colorado) is the state chapter of the national Make-A-Wish network that grants wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses. The chapter was founded in 1983 and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, delivering wish-granting services across Colorado. In recent years Make-A-Wish Colorado has continued to expand and professionalize operations: it celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023, maintains audited financial statements, and reports multi-million-dollar annual revenues used primarily for wish granting. In fiscal year ended August 31, 2025 the chapter reported $9.28 million in total support and directed the majority of its spending to wish-related program services. The chapter partners with local corporations, volunteers and the national Make-A-Wish organization to identify eligible children, design tailored wishes, and coordinate donated goods and services that lower net cost per wish while maximizing family impact.
