To build community through free, professional music performances in Denver-area parks, to unite diverse audiences, and to educate and inspire young musicians through instruction, side-by-side opportunities, and school partnerships.
About Denver Municipal Band
Founded in 1861, the Denver Municipal Band is a long-running professional ensemble that provides free public concerts and education programs across the Denver metro area.
The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 74-2364520) and presents a variety of ensembles — concert band, jazz band, brass quintet and smaller groups — for parks, schools, festivals, and community events.
In recent years the Band has continued a robust summer park concert series, expanded school-side programs, and sustained partnerships with Denver parks, local schools, and civic sponsors.

Sustained partnerships with Denver public schools and participation with the Colorado Honor Band and other regional education programs to mentor emerging musicians.
