Pueblo Crisis Pregnancy Center, Inc., doing business as A Caring Pregnancy Center (ACPC), is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has served the Pueblo, Colorado region since the mid-1980s. ACPC provides pregnancy-related medical services, counseling, parenting education and material assistance to people facing unplanned pregnancies.
ACPC operates a medical clinic offering pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasounds and STI services, a mobile medical unit that brings testing and options education into surrounding communities, and life-services programs that include parenting classes and material support (diapers, formula, clothing).
In the last 2–3 years ACPC has reported increased clinic and outreach activity (including several hundred pregnancy tests and ultrasound contacts in 2024), extended clinic hours and has continued expansion of mobile outreach and medical services to reach more clients earlier in their decision-making process.
Notable achievements
Sustained mobile clinic outreach
Maintained and expanded deployment of the mobile medical unit to deliver pregnancy testing, ultrasounds and education across southern Colorado since the mobile program began, increasing community access.
Clinic expansion and modernization
Completed a full remodel and expansion of the ACPC Women’s Clinic (remodel opened in 2021) and has continued to grow clinical hours and capacity in subsequent years.
Documented service impact (recent years)
Reported several hundred pregnancy tests and ultrasound contacts and over two thousand face-to-face client contacts in the most recent annual impact reporting period, reflecting sustained client reach and program activity.
