About Outreach United Resource Center (OUR Center)
Verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 74-2448346) founded in 1986, OUR Center operates a Family Resource Center and the Aspen Center for Child Development to serve residents of the St. Vrain Valley School District (Longmont area).
The organization combines immediate basic-needs services (food, meals, clothing, rent/utility assistance) with case management, skill-building classes, and early childhood education to help families move toward stability.
In the last 2–3 years OUR Center has continued to operate at scale (high volumes of food and meal distribution and class participation), and in 2025 began repurposing its Community Closet space to expand childcare, food distribution, and classroom capacity.

High-volume basic-needs impact (2023)
In recent reporting years the organization distributed hundreds of thousands of pounds of food and tens of thousands of hot meals while delivering thousands of case-management sessions and financial assistance vouchers, demonstrating large-scale community reach.
Family Resource Center designation
Transitioned to and operates as an integrated Family Resource Center model that combines wraparound casework, skill-building programs, and early childhood services to support long-term self-sufficiency.
2025 program-space expansion
In 2025 initiated repurposing of the Community Closet to expand childcare capacity, increase food-distribution space, and add classroom/program space to better meet evolving community needs.
