DENVER YOUTH PROGRAM

Denver Youth Program (DYP) is a long-running Denver-based nonprofit focused on supporting at-risk youth through mentoring, hospital-based violence intervention, employment training, outdoor stewardship, and clinical/holistic healing services. The organization operates multiple programs — including Metro Denver Partners mentoring, the AIM hospital-based violence intervention program, GRASP and GRASP Enterprises, My Outdoor Colorado, and the R.E.A.C.H. Clinic — that combine direct service, case management, and workforce readiness. In recent years DYP has expanded hospital and academic partnerships (including Denver Health, UCHealth, Children’s Hospital of Colorado and University of Colorado), scaled community programs (Family Nature Club and Healing Circles), and launched the R.E.A.C.H. Clinic to provide multidisciplinary follow-up care after violence-related injuries. The organization reports measurable program-level impact (hundreds to thousands served annually) and receives major foundation and government support to sustain and grow services.
