About Kim Robards Dance, Inc.
Kim Robards Dance (KRD) is a professional, multi-generational modern dance company founded in 1987 and led by Artistic Director Kim Robards. The organization produces original choreography and mainstage seasons while operating The Academy of KRD (training for youth, adults and professionals) and the KRD Venue, a community performance and rehearsal center in Denver.
KRD presents regular seasonal programs, educational outreach, touring residencies and community rentals; it positions the KRD Venue as a cultural hub for the North Denver/Chaffee Park neighborhood and the metro area. The organization is registered as a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit under EIN 74-2503031 and continues active programming and community engagement through recent seasons and academy sessions.
