About COLORADO STATEWIDE PARENT COALITION
Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition (CSPC) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1980 that advances family engagement, early childhood quality, and parent leadership with a focus on historically marginalized and Spanish-speaking communities.
CSPC operates statewide programs that train and credential informal caregivers and family child care providers, builds parent leadership in schools, and runs policy and advocacy work so families have a seat at decision-making tables.
In recent years CSPC has expanded statewide training and grant administration work (including a large Family, Friend & Neighbor support contract awarded in 2024) and publishes annual reports documenting program outcomes and impact.
Notable achievements
Selected to administer statewide FFN training and grant program (2024)
CSPC was awarded the contract to lead Colorado’s Family, Friend & Neighbor Training and Support Program (contract executed in 2024), a major statewide initiative to deliver training, technical assistance, and competitive grants to strengthen FFN care.
Demonstrated PASO outcomes and credentialing support
Through PASO cohorts CSPC has prepared multiple cohorts of informal providers for CDA-level practice and reported strong graduation outcomes and increases in provider capacity and income for program completers.
Annual reporting and expanded partnerships (2023–2024)
CSPC published recent annual reports (including a 2024 report) and expanded partnerships and funder relationships to scale training, evaluation, and community outreach across Colorado.
