To provide financial and material assistance to students in Arvada West High School’s instrumental music programs, foster positive unity among school staff, families, and directors, and increase community awareness and involvement in instrumental music activities.
About Arvada West High School Instrumental Music Boosters
Arvada West High School Instrumental Music Boosters (AWIMB) is a parent-led 501(c)(3) organization that supports the school’s band and orchestra programs through fundraising, volunteer coordination, and event planning. The boosters help sustain concert and jazz bands, concert and chamber orchestras, marching band, pep band, indoor percussion, pit orchestra, and small ensembles.
AWIMB raises funds for student travel, competition fees, uniforms, instrument maintenance and purchases, and program needs not covered by district funding. In recent years the boosters have continued major fundraising campaigns (including participation on Colorado Gives Day) and filed annual Form 990 returns for fiscal years through 2023.
