About NORWEGIAN CHRISTIAN HOME FOUNDATION

The Norwegian Christian Home Foundation is the fundraising and philanthropic arm that supports the Norwegian Christian Home & Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. The foundation was incorporated in 2006 to provide ongoing financial support for a care organization whose history of serving older adults in Brooklyn traces back to 1903. The foundation raises contributions and manages endowed assets to sustain skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation and community-focused programs administered by the Home. In recent years the foundation has reported multi-year giving and investment income that support capital improvements, resident programs and operational stability.

Funded and supported an $80,000-plus renovation and ribbon-cutting for a new rehabilitation gym (completed March 19, 2025) to improve physical- and occupational-therapy capacity for residents recovering from injury or illness.
