About SALESMANSHIP CLUB OF DALLAS

Founded in 1920, the Salesmanship Club of Dallas is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) service organization that unites more than 600 members to strengthen the mental health and educational outcomes of children and families. The Club’s primary beneficiary is Momentous Institute; the Salesmanship Club raises philanthropic support, awareness and volunteer capacity to expand mental-health services, school-based programming, and professional training.

The organization is best known as the host of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, an official PGA TOUR event whose proceeds support Momentous Institute; the tournament has generated more than $200 million for children’s mental-health services. In recent years the Club has continued annual fundraising, volunteer engagement (25,000+ volunteer hours annually) and leadership transitions (Club presidents and board leadership announced publicly in 2023 and 2025) while tracking toward a stated goal of strengthening the lives of 1,000,000 children and families by 2031.
