FORT WORTH MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is a long-established, donor-facing 501(c)(3) museum serving Fort Worth and the greater North Texas region. It operates a large cultural campus with hands-on galleries, a planetarium, education programs (Museum School, outreach, mobile planetarium) and the Omni Theater. In recent years the Museum completed a major upgrade to its Omni Theater—installing a world-scale 8K LED dome—and reopened a reimagined TCU Children’s Gallery, expanding programming for early learners and families. The institution reports approximately 270,000 visitors annually and focuses on school partnerships, community outreach, and accessible admission initiatives to reach diverse and low-income families. The Museum is accredited and maintains national affiliations to support exhibit quality and educational standards while partnering with local institutions (including TCU and the Tarrant County Education Foundation) to develop exhibits and learning programs that reflect regional science and history themes.
